I just bought an Allis CA with a six foot mower that runs great but the hydrolics do not work they did when we loader it but not now.The front was droped off the back of trailer but did not seem to hurt anything. It is a tricycle and we were trying to load it with two ramps. Any way does anyone have any ideas thanks

First make sure the pto is running...it has to run for the hydraulics to work. Second, check the oil level in the rear end, this is also the hydraulic oil resevoir. Third, the pto'pump may just need to spin awhile if air got in it....if these steps don't work you may have stirred up some dirt that got into the pump or check valves....then the pump will have to come off and cleaned.

Besides what Eldon and lefty said, if it is still cold where you are, keep the lever at that certain spot it lifts the best.... and/or come back in half an hour... and jiggle the lever back and forward till you hear or 'sense' the pump starting to work.

Thanks you all for the info . I will try all things I am in Missouri and today is 90 degrees so cold is not it. Will try to find the sweet spot on the pump handle .You guys are so helpful, thanks much Ken

I think they have covered your hyd problem. When
loading and unloading a tri-cycle tractor. Start
at a angle to the ramps. Say you are on the left
side, run your front tires up the right hand ramp
turning to the left so your left rear tire will
line up with the left ramp. When backing off do
the same. As your front tires are getting far
enough to need a ramp cut the wheels either right
or left and run your front wheels down a ramp. You
will end up at about a 45 degree angle. two ramps
is all you need.
