lost a pet today....

my 6 yo daughter woke me up this morning yelling thanks dead....went down stairs and there he layed in the living room dead....he was only 1 1/2 yo. we adopted him from the shelter in November. sweetest dog ever. he always had a big smile on his face...and loved to cuddle with everyone...the tears keep rolling..it really hurts.

We went through this in 2010 when our black Chow Taz was diagnosed with stomach cancer. When the ultra sound results came back we bought another Chow pup. When Taz started bleeding from the rectum we knew it was time to let her go. We had her put to sleep and cremated.

Here are pictures of the pup we call Sugarbear at 8 weeks and at 6 months. She will be 2 in May. Buy another pup. Hal

Condolences! If on a farm, or country life, get a Border Collie or Australian Shepherd. They are fundamentally sound dogs of modest size and probably will help in every way they can. Jim

So sorry for your loss,especially with such a young pet.I have a Cocker Spaniel that is 13 1/2 yr. old. He is getting old and like all of us ,..can"t function like he used to. I dread the day I have to put him down. I just hope the Good Lord takes him naturally. Unfortunately,..I doubt that will happen. I will not let him suffer and when the time comes I"ll do what has to be done.

Sorry go hear about your loss. When they are family not just a pet it's a very tough loss. Share your pain, in the span of 2 weeks we've gone from 1 cat, 4 dogs to just 1 dog. Just like you we are heartbroken. Hang in there we WILL get through this.

We consider them, as on loan from GOD.
