Can anyone tell me about this picture? I ordered this about 35 years ago. I believe it was free at that time. It says in the lower left corner
© INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER 1975.
I had it at the St. Louis Toy Show years ago and showed it to a few IH collectors and they didn't know much about it. Can any one here tell me anything about it? Does any one else have one?
Thanks,
John

It reminds me a lot of <a href="http://www.walterhaskellhinton.com/johndeere/johndeere.html">Walter Haskell Hinton's artwork</a>. Not saying it's his though.

Maybe this was from an IH calendar in 1975 or something?

Not a calendar picture.
This measures 12 3/4" x 19". It has margins past these measurement but the picture is framed.
I ordered out of a farm magazine.
Seems like it was free or only had a small cost to it. This is all I remember.

Well, it sure wasn't my dad waking me up to go get the cows, 'cause it wasn't pitch black outside! LOL

Remember once it was winter, temp. in the teens, and I tripped and fell in the corral- ran a little "icycle" of frozen manure into the palm of my hand.

If I had it to do over, wouldn't have mentioned it to Mom, who wasn't a big fan of the farming operation anyhow. . . And the $hit "hit the fan", literally, over that incident. . .

On the bottom left corner below Lassie it looks like the artist's signature. Not clear enough to read on the computer, can you make it out? That would be a good start. If you can, google that name and let us know what you find out. Neat picture!

My father used to grab my big toe and give it a shake if I was not up on my own.

He just hated to be in bed past 5:30 or so, felt he finished most of what he needed to do for the day before the interruptions started. He also liked to have some projects going that he could work on after dark when the interruptions stopped again. I think he lived on 4.5 hours of sleep, I know I can"t keep that up for more than a few days.

Seams funny they wouldn't have a Farmall sitting outside the window. Or is there one sitting by the silos? Can't quite tell.
