Wow, I took 460 pounds of dead battery's , about 15 battery's
to local scrap yard today, I got $115 bucks. I was shocked.
Dident know they were worth .25 cents a pound. I just wish I
topped them all off with water! Lol

I get about $9 for a car battery at the scrap yard. I was at a auction and there was 2 car batteries next to a building. They went for $30 a piece. How they made money on that I dont know.

They give 3-6 a head here in SW OK.... not much at all, but they get off the land. I do travel a bit (TX and KS) so let me know if they give a lot more in those places! I can take a few batteries each time, won't add much to the car going down the road. email's open.

nebraska lead prices

raw lead stock .30

car/truck batteries .20

wheel weights .15 all by the pound

at salvage place, sure there would be better prices somewhere else, but haven't got that connection yet. that always involves more gas anyway....
