generator wireing

have a 1941 rt minni mo. had a wrong gen. on it that did not work, got ahold of the proper 6v gen with cutout for it but wires are gone or not connected, would appreciate if someone who knows of what wire goes where would respond to this. have a A and a F on rear of generator. A is hooked to cutout on non marked terminal and other terminal is battery. Has pos. grd. any help would be appreciated and thank you for any help or where to get help r

don't have one, but if you have a Field terminal, I suspect that such generator to be used with a regulator, not a simple cut out.

When I had to wire my COOP E3 that sat in a pasture for a lot of years I used Bob Melville's wiring Diagrams.

should have positive ground regulator, "F" goes to field on regulator, "A" goes to gen on regulator, and the battery on regular needs to go to your amp gauge left side, probably should polarize the regulator also

i assume its a cutout as it has the points in it and there is a battery connection on it and another conn. that says nothing on it
