Selling My Tractor Revisited

I really appreciate all the advice. I sure didn't expect it! Miss MN was very surprised that I wanted to sell it and kinda sad. Truth is, i dont have time to work on them and theyve been in my yard for a year and a half just sitting. She is very supportive of my hobbies but i just have too many hobbies! Theyre going to a good home and getting the money for them is just a perk. I should clarify theres a parts tractor to go with it. Its not that we're having a fancy wedding either. Just renting the little community hall and grilling homemade food. We're just broke! I'm blessed that she has the same appreciation for the value of things as I do.

Good for you.... Bein broke awhile never hurt anyone..Builds character....

Good luck

My little piece of advice is good for life tho...... One time and you're thru........

was broke we we got married, actually had $500.00 in bank !!! 35 years later still bout the same, but been a great trip this far, 2 beautiful daughters that are grown, hang in

You can always buy another tractor sometimes you have to do what is necessary not what you want to do.Remember good women are hard to find.

That"s kinda what I thought. She really wants a Farmall W4 or JD D someday...so I"ll look frward to that instead of cryin" bout my Masseys that weren"t all that special anyway.

We were married when I was in the Army 59 years ago. Nothing like having a permanent job. Should've married her before I was drafted and she would've been receiving an allotment every month. I was rehired back at my old job when drafted after I was discharged. Hal

You are very fortunate that she is supportive of your hobbies and shares the same values as you.

Tractors and other material "stuff" will come and go; a good wife is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Best wishes to both of you.

When you're ready for a W-4 project for the Mrs., we may need to talk. I have one in my shed that came from Bagley, MN. Dad always says he going to fix it up, but I'm not sure it will ever happen. A complete tractor with good rubber and tin, but spun a bearing and ruined the crankshaft. I have a crank and bearings for it, but never the time to fix it back up. I'm guessing we just may be able to make a deal when the time is right for you.

HEY! Glad to see you and she are doing great. I thought about you the other day. My daugter told my son he needed to try "farmers only.com". He said they were all probably just a bunch of old cows. I told them you'd had a pretty good experience with that kind of thing.
Congrats on the wedding.

Sounds like a good old girl, but I'd take the Masseys over a binder or deere any day.

Well... I did just sell a couple tractors...how much you want for it? haha just kidding! Thank you. I will definitely remember.

Chris when mrs 730 and i got married we went to a state park and had a picnic.
a lot of people wore shorts and t-shirts.
people are still talking about it 8 1/2 years later.
you don't need a big fancy wedding standing in front of a judge gets you just as married.
