It looks nice, should be handy for your gardens. My understanding is that you need a ground speed of maybe 1/2 or 1 MPH at 540 PTO speed to use a tiller, I hope that your Ford has a low enough gear so you can use it.

looks a lot like the one my dad has, was made in Italy, will look at it when I am there tomorrow. It was another brand but looked like that one, runs real good and heavier than ones places like TSC sells, looks like you did well

Probably a Maschio- I think they're the big tiller maker in Italy. But the manufacturer is probably mentioned in fine print somewhere.

That's a great piece for you have, will look nice on the 2000. I think I like implements better n tractors sometimes, probably because of all the different kinds of work they do. Its also nice to have a few pieces that are the same mfr or match the tractor, even better when they work just as well, look nice in photos. We sold Ford tractors, and implements but there's a lot of them that were never on our lot, that tiller is one of them.

larry,

Nice deal. I'm sure it will do right for you.

My brother-in-law has a piece of junk Belarus tractor. He manages to keep it functioning about 10% of the time. On one of those 10% times, he hung a 3 point rototiller on it. His tractor has an extremely low, low gear that barely creeps the tractor along. The tiller did a great job on a large garden plot. The very slow ground speed really made a difference.

That was about 2 years ago and I'm not sure that he has had the tractor operating reliably since then.

Nice Larry, Id like to find something like that for my
Ford 1720 tractor, I have the 12x12sss tranny so that kinda tiller would work great.!!

Doubt it's a Maschio as they are more heavy duty. About 90% of tillers are made in Italy and there's probably a dozen or so different brands. Can't tell if it's a chain drive or gear drive but check to make sure the oil level is at the right level before you use it. Also good to have a slip clutch or shear pin on the drive shaft.
