Saw doctor today

So the doctor that did my bypass said i was doing fine and go live my life.So does that mean i am off lifting and working restrictions? He thinks the hand will get better on its own and one swelled breast is no problem.I told him he needed to do both sides to make them evan.Apparantly they did not get all the blood veseles from my leg and took one from a breast.
 
We all have jolly good fun, giving medical and legal advice on here- but yours is kind of serious business, and I recommend you ask your doctor the questions about lifting restrictions, etc.

Glad you came through OK, even if you are a little "unbalanced". . .
 
Yep,that means no restrictions. Now get back to work,it's spring. Unless you're going to try to get a job at some Discount Hooters. lol
 
My Doctor checked me and said was OK to go to my daughters graduation in NE. Yea a week later I barely made it home. Spent 4 days in two hospitals and was close to death.
it took them ten years but I finally got on the Last Chance pill and feel real good now.

Glad you are still here, My good friend had a stroke about 2 months ago. Just a LIGHT stroke. but it is a life changing event! We are pretty fragile! Need to enjoy what we have left. Vic
 
Doc told me no lifting over twenty pounds. Because with my bone cancer my knee caps could break. I don't lift anything over 16 ounces. Standard weight of a BEER can.

Sucks getting old.Really sucks the day you find out the things you can no longer do. Still work when I feel like it. Just not as fast as I used to be.
 
Tell your friend to take it easy my brother had a slight stroke back in 1997. I called him when he was home and he was out raking leaves. I told to get his 5th wife to rake those leaves. About a month later he had a severe stroke and she kept him on life support for over 3 months at a local VA hospital so she could collect his retirement. When they took him off life support he refused to go back on it and died. He was only 66 when he died. Hal
