WWII vets???

Can't help you, Dave. Dad passed in 1994, Uncle Larry about ten years ago. Uncle Frank died at St. Lo, and is in the cemetary at Normandy. All three were Army, and Omaha beach vets.

Dave, He's not my family but my next door neighbor served in Europe. He was a tanker with Gen. George S. Patton's 3rd Army. He's still pretty sharp mentally, especially if you can get him to talk about his WWll rxperience.

If you have the time and want to give him back a little, contact your local American Legion or VFW and let them know. They'll (should) send someone out, verify his service, and fill out the papers for him. It's a very nice citation and medal.
