OT root heath sheller, idiotic restroom lighting

Root Heath made four models of corn shellers. The top of the line model had R&H cast into it and the name cast in the wheel - anyone have any idea about the others?

More idiotic restroom lighting has moved to Virgnia. You enter the restroom, go in a stall, 4 mminutes later all the power goes out - to save electricity
 
Just remember your nose doesn't need lights to work. So,with things going dark, all that means is that you simply need to do a final check by wiping with your fingers and smelling them to make sure your clean before buckling up to leave. Just remember to wash your hands...LOL
 
Yep, the timer's not set right, but you are right, it IS idiotic. The amount of energy saved by a few fluorescentlights is miniscule.
 
Or the toilets at the airport that flush automatically every so often, even if you're not "done"- and it gives your bottom a nice bath, like a bidet. I couldn't get dried off quick enough, before another round- finally had to stand up to break the vicious circle.

And the cost of the reduced life of flourescents by constantly turning them on and off far exceeds the cost of electricity of just leaving them on.
 
Count your blessings. In Michigan they're changing all the urinals to "waterless" green units. What a wonderful treat the smell of thousands of batches of you know what.
