Spring has arrived!

Went out to check the ewes last night and heard the first Killdeer. Something must have been harassing them out in the pasture they were going on and on about something. I hope they are right and spring is here, after the last few winters we were do for a break.

Yeah, I think we are pretty well out of the woods now. Here in NC we may have another frost or two, but I'm not concerned about anything else. The peepers have been singing at the pond for several nights now, the birds are starting to do their thing. There are very few killdeer in my neighborhood, but I always wait to hear the first whippoorwill.

Spring has arrived!
