Dealing with the Meadow Muffins

It"s been nice the last couple of days here in the Mission Valley. I decided to take advantage of the 60°F weather and deal with the meadow muffins in the pasture.
Note that I still have the snow edge on the back blade. I"m not entirely convinced that winter is over.

You"ll notice we have plenty of snow on the Missions. This bodes well for our irrigation water.

Did same routing here last week.............just no mountains to block my view of the horizon here in TX. :)
The 8N won't pull my chain harrow though. Had to step up to about 2X the HP.

I guess you're lucky to have what you have. Its not any better in the Flathead. The elk are down on the valley floor. I can't help but wonder if they intend to avoid another winter like the last or if the predators are driving them off the mountain.

I used 3/8" bolts with washers to connect the tires together and then a steel eye in every other tire with a 1/4" chain to connect the tires to the chain harrow.
