Afternoon Everyone.
After the considering everyone's comments last week on my video showing how the tractor ran, I gave it a tune up consisting of a new distributor cap, points/condenser, plugs and a new OEM air filter.
I made the mistake of never checking the gap on the old plugs but did this time and about 95% of the misfiring stopped. It does run for a few minutes and cut out still but had the video I shot not deleted itself would demonstrate how much better it sounds.
Black/grey puffs come out of the exhaust when you start her and it clears out .
Any idea what would cause the tractor to just cut out like that? It also surged once as well but other than that the engine has a deep throated sound coming out of the vertical exhaust.
