Galaxy tires

I am looking for tires and am not excited about paying a lot
for them. Ebay has some new 14.9x38 Galaxy tires for $480
each.

Anyone got experience with them?

got a pair of 18.4x38 been on our 1486 for over fifteen years now.

I'am running 4 sets right now, I've always use them and have good luck so unless something else comes along I'll stay with them. I can't even think about Goodyear you would need a large bank loan for them.

How much will the shipping cost?that,plus the price of the tires may add to more than a pair of local tires.Plus,if there is a problem,a tire purchaced locally can be'serviced'.ebay tires-you're on your own.You buy local,the dealer MAY mount them for free.Ebay tires,you will have to PAY!Local will probably be the best deal!

I have a set of Galaxy tires on my 2N. They seem to be good tires but one of them has been losing chunks of rubber from the tips of the lugs. They are not being torn off because they don"t get used that hard. If you look at the spot where they come off, the spot is smooth. I looked the rest of the tire over and there are lines on other lugs where other chunks will come off sometime. The other tire is fine. I posted pictures of that tire awhile back.
