460 is getting closer to done

Getting a little closer to finishing up the 460. She's not perfect but should be pretty nice. Got some more to do but another few hours or so I'll have it done. I have to get the main equiptment serviced up and ready for the field. so I'm hoping to finish it up in between times this week so I can go to the field next week and be done with this project. Thanks for all who gave advice.

Why is it that all that is missing on the front is the 460 badges yet it looks so odd without them?

Looks good! Janicholson said it's a good feeling to be mounted on a shiny tractor. It's a better feeling when you did the work yourself.
 
Gary, I have new badges coming for it and it sure does not look quite right without them. Jim, this has been a fun project. I see the spark in my kids eyes when they got to drive it around the yard for a while and that pretty well made up my mind to bring her back to a more respectable state. I suppose I was that way when I got to take it haying on my own for the first time all those years ago. I think the old super h is gonna get a going through before to long. Maybe even the 450 could use some tlc. I have 3 boys and my middle one suggested the other 2 need paint so they can run them in a parade. I guess I might have opened up a can of worms with this!
 
Looks good!!! Lucky you have 3 boys, if you had a girl, you might have to paint one of them pink. Chris
