John deere gators

I found 2 john deere 4x2 gators that run good but
have just over 8k hrs on them coming up to auction.
I belive that they are 2002 or 2003 models. They
are a little beat up but that has to be expected for
that many hours. Does any one have a clue what they
are worth?
 
In the 3500 range when clean and power dump box. Pricing is a couple years behind for me. A ton of hours will be the down side.
 
With those kind of hours and condition I would say $1500-2000 would be the market for them. I have had several 4x2s over the years. They are just about indestructibly. They are not fast or flashy. Some can be a little cold blooded but you just can't kill them. I now have one older 4x2 and a new XUV 4x4 Gator. For the cost the older 4x2 is a better buy. The newer one is faster and all but at over 10K it is pretty costly.
 
Well they would need all new plastics and new seats. They also don't have power dumps, so I was thinking in the $800-$1000 with that kind of hours. I was thinking that the hours and cosmetic issues would scare off alot of people.
 
If you can get them for that they are a steal then. I would bet that you will not be even close at that price. There are many guys looking for them. They will not care about the looks to just use them. If they run and move they will bring more than you think.
