Nice looking colt. I like it when they have a little "chrome". Always fun while they learn how to use those legs.

Thought I was down for the night.... little sleep the night before, 12 hour shift, chores, shower, and on the couch. Mare was allquiet, calm, and eating 20 minutes before. Wife flips to the camera and the foot was sticking out.

So much for a nap :roll:

Thanks.... Amazing how all that could come outta that hole and all them legs still be straight and work so fast.... First foal for this mare but she picked up that mom role real quick.....
 
My Grandpa always had Belgians. He would hire the same stud with same mare 2 years in a row to try and get a 'matched' pair. He would train them and sell them as a pair. I remember thinking the colts were the cutest thing ever! He would sell them in a barn where the Amish were in attendance. His were the only ones you could drive in, stop, and they would back up in front of that crowd. Usually got decent money for his horses!
