Well, just got back from a farm auction. I went as i was interested in the farm. little higher than what i could afford. +/- 98ac farm... $1,094,000.

Saw a new ad in the paper the other day for 280 acres. Called and was told it was sold. Sold in 3 hours for 3200. Aurora county.

Hard to believe. I have a written sales agreement that my great-grandfather made in 1898 when he purchased 45 acres for $450.00

Sure wish some of those folks would come this way. I've got 3 farms out in the western part of the state just a shade smaller than that each and that half that money would get them all.

126 acres sold east of orangeville il thursday 890,000.
the buyer sold house off of it right away i don't know what money the house sold for.

I have 120 acres of farmground in Gregory county that I would sell for half that......
