When I got up this morning.I opened the back door and this fellow was in the trees looking at me like he wanted breakfast.Pretty cool considering I live in the city.

Very nice picture! Thanks! We have several owls around here. When Leggie was a puppy I took her out in the yard and waited for her to do her business because one of the owls was usually nearby. Nowdays I don't know if Leggie could be picked out of the yard by a C-5 Galaxy!

its a barred owl i have a pair each year nesting in the woods in my front yard
