Wow, just saw a commercial for Doomsday Bunkers! A new scary show, Boy the media sells fear so people will consume. Can't wait to see what this crazy show is about. If u dont use Colgate ur breath will stink, if u have pimples u wont get $aid, cut to commercial, buy the Acura, back to news big storm coming, ect, pretty funny I think. Boo!

Yeah, I know you need commercials to sell product, but I get tired of watching at least 30 minutes of commercials during an hour long newscast.

Yes. And that Acura commercial - ends with "Aggression in its most elegant form." Aggression? Is that a good thing while driving?

Sad part is, if you have cable, or satellite were paying to watch that crap. I pay for satellite, I don't wanna see commercials or edited shows. I wanna see the original version with the language and so forth. I also found I switched to 5 different channels, all had commercials at the same time? Anyone else notice this! If Direct TV wasent so cheap, I'd get rid of it.

Jay, I don't watch enough tv to bother with cable or dish. I just make do with an old fashioned antenna. I was thinking just the other day, when you change channels, your chances of hitting a commercial in progress has got to be more than 50%!

Those syncronized commercials seem to go with certain channels that are grouped together. For instance, the Discovery channels, from History Channel on 269 up through Investigation Discovery on 285. They all seem to run commercials at the exact same time. Sometimes some of the entertainment and local channels are opposite enough, and the commercial breaks are long enough, that you can pretty much watch two shows at once and not miss much.

My wife and I were watching a movie on TLC the other night, and started timing the segments. Six minutes of movie, six minutes of commercials. That went on for three hours. MikeS.

I never looked at it that way, but I agree, groups of channels having commercials at the same time!

We just set the bOx to record and watch later. Fast forwarding through the commercials. Sad to say some commercials are better than the show.0

Prime Star initially, got tired of looking at Mike Rowe advertising it to people already subscribing. Then went to Direct TV and got tired of them running the price up at their discretion. Currently with Dish and it's slightly tolerable.

Had the same problem about paying to see commercials. Hot dog, you get 120 channels for $29.99.99.99...whoope. If you remove the sales programs, the religious programs, the get rich quick programs, and the other stuff that is almost watchable with tons of commercials, you get one or two channels that you can actually watch.

Course if you want to watch movies which have no commercials, they come at a premium price. So you say to the supplier, I don't want the 120 channels of "stuff" I just want to watch movies......no deal. Gotta have the 120 channels and then add the cost of the movies. Pffffffffffffffft.

So I turn off the TV and get on the internet and vent on sites like this one. More enlightening.
