After I got done bleeding the injectors the dang thing fired up and filled my shop full of smoke, only for a minute tho. The tractor purrs like a kitten on steriods. Not bad for a sloppy patch jod eh?? :D

Sorry about what i said didnt know you was not completely over hauling it.I saw the number two and three sleeve and thought you was putting new piston in the old sleeve with the rust and the small amount of carbon that was there in the pic.I guess i need to learn to over look things until i know the whole story.I am just very picky and has a large mouth that my foot can fix in very easy.

o need to apologize, if anything I sould be the one to apologize for not telling the whole story on the tractor. Some guys do know the history of it. Be nice to see some of your own projects if ya got some on the go. Thanx ...Lyle
 
I work at a john deere dealership in indiana and custom bale and wrap hay. Also in the winter months i rebuilt my equipment and my dad.Do a little work for people around here that dont want to spend 80 a hour on their old tractors.I have a 4020 i am finishing do a out of frame on,a 4320 and a 4440 to do in frames on here at home i will try to get some pics.Also need to ran my round baler, mower, rake, and rebuilt my bale wrapper.What i need to do is get my lazy ace off of here and get back to work.Just got done putting a complete grain tank in a 9770sts at work wish i would have got some pics of that.
 
Hummmmm. Obviously this engine was made by someone other than 'Standard Engine Company Limited'. What took you so long? you have been at that more than 6 hours! How long was this one dead? Lucky you the injector pump didn't gum up! What's next? minimo pto?
