i have an 87 1010 and am looking for a throw out bearing for the pto dealer says they are unavailable any help would be great

When a dealer gives you the runaround, it"s time
to get part numbers, JD part numbers, The part
number stamped on the assembly, and assigned by
whomever JD purchased it from, and finally some
dimensions, such as Inside diameter, outside
diameter, thickness, or width...then, if you
collect catalogs, like me,(and I"ve gone to
Timken and Fafnir bearing schools)and checking
out whats available...or...go to a darn good
bearing and powertrain supply house, and give
them your information.

That must have been the last one built. They was so hard to sale back than that it sit in the warehouse until 87 tx jim. lol

Serial number? There was re-design at 31,001 and
another at 42,000. Some running changes here and
there through production.
There is a parts list here

Keep us posted with info and progress and we'll
get the old girl running.
The persons dealerships hire for minimum wage
at the parts counter sometimes lack motivation,
ability, knowledge,experience and/or manners.

If I looked up the correct part # T10583 RING (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)(parts key # 16)
