I think the general consensus around here $60/hr, but the last per bale price I've heard was $0.55. If fuel prices continue to go up then you would need to factor that in. Don't forget about the time and fuel going to and from the field as well.

2011 I was chargeing .75 per bale with a $20.00 per acre and /or $100.00 job minimum.Exampe:1 acre job with 50 bales = $100 fee.2012 will be higher.
 
We charge on the average of $40.00 per hour and $1.50 a bale. They are selling for around $14.00 a bale here in New Mexico.
 
Yea,I think we can blame high fuel costs to politicians. Its funny how this is working on an election year.
 
Are you saying that someone who wants to control the outcome of an election can manulipate fuel costs? It does seem that every election year the cost of gas does spike.
