Microsoft IE

My Microsoft IE had been working reasonably well. But today when I click on the icon, it takes me to Google search and a place to open for downloading IE 9. Help suggestions are welcome. I do have Google and Firefox browsers so I can get by fine, just curious as to what may have happened. Thanks

A month or so ago, one company I work for started using a new computer program. I had nothing but problems with it.

When I reported my problems, the first thing they asked me was if I was running IE9. They said everyone that was on IE9 was having problems.

I'm still on IE8, and it was their own problem, not mine. Since that experience, I'd be a bit gunshy of IE9.

I finally refused to do any work that involved that program. From the "all hands" emails that have been posted since, I think I saved myself a lot of grief even if I did lose a bit of work.

might be a malware attack causing a redirect on your browser. you might want to download and run malwarebytes. get the free version. it has free updates and is good. get it here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/

also check on ie and see if something has changed your home page( a sign of malware).
