I saw the neat pictures of your Pocono adventure below and wonder if that's the cabin you referred to earlier. When you spoke of a "remote cabin" it put me in mind of this one.

When the day comes (hopefully not for another 50 years or so) and its time to leave this life, I hope this is what heaven looks like....maybe with the addition of a nice barn with a farmall MTA in it!!!!

I agree, it looks heavenly to me too, and I like the idea of the barn & Farmall. I'd even settle for the green brand-- an Oliver of course! This would definitely be the opposite end of the spectrum from a city mansion on snob hill.

when my friend invited me,he said come visit the cabin, and I pictured it to look like what you posted, but it was still a good time., It did have the hand pump for water, and the water was real cold and tasty. The original cabin on the land we visited got damaged by a heavy deep snow and the one I posted was built in 1961 out of block and used building materials,my friends father said it cost him 850 dollars, He has 20 acres, right in the middle of state forrest and state game land. We really had a nice time and heard many good stories from my friends dad, I have been invited back to try and catch some brook trout from the creek that is at the bottom of the hill from the cabin.

Nice pics Larry, I sure does look peaceful. I live in NE Pa. and we have some nice places around me to visit. It's close to where your other pic. were taken around Montrose, Pa.
