During the winter of 1776-77 the British occupied much of NJ. The Continentals would launch raids against them then fade back into that area of Pa. and regroup. They made that winter VERY unpleasant for the Brits and convinced them they could not hold NJ and they retreated to the island of Manhattan where it was safe.

my friend said come visit the cabin, I had never been there before,it was nice, and we had a real good time, state game lands on one side of it,and state forrest on the other

it was real nice, good water from a hand pump, nice and cold ,very tasty, Wood stove threw plenty of heat, Iwas surprised how nice the house was,my friend said we are going to the cabin, but it was really nice!

Larry nice pictures, Pa. is a beautiful state. My sister lived in the Lewisburg- Milton area for 20 years. I was planning on going out there and spending some time when I retired but she passed away before I retiered. Keep posting picture you take good pictures.
