White 120 vs 140 tractor

Can anyone please tell me the difference between a White 120 and 140? I understand that the 140 is aftercooled and that the injectors may be different. Is the motor and injection pump the exact same? Can you easily add an aftercooler?

Will a White 120 replace a 2-135 without any problems (i.e. lack of power to pull the same implements)?

Only difference is the after-cooler, everything else is identical. A 135 will lug better, and will probably weigh slightly more. But the 120 will burn a lot less fuel. A neighbor of mine has a 135 series 3 and a 140 w/mfwd. He still likes the 135 for heavy work, says it pulls better. But I often wonder if it is because the 135 can slip, while the 140 is getting traction.

The 120 replaced the 2-110. The 2-110 was 110 horse, the 120 was 119. The 140 replaced the 2-135. 2-135 was 137 horse,140 was 138. Almost an identical match except the engine (for all intent and purposes).
The 100 by the way,replaced the 2-88. 2-88 was 86 horse,100 was 94.
