O/T: It's my fault....

It's been pretty cold all weekend and now it is snowing here in southern MO. Of course winter had to come visit us: we planted tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, and onion seeds indoors about ten days ago. I even started a very small handful of zucchinis and cucumbers for an ultra early crop. None of these things will be ready to go outdoors for at least three weeks, in the case of the tomatoes, more like 8 weeks. Nevertheless, I was thinking very "spring-y" thoughts as I worked at them.

Snow in western Arkansas today. Probably 3 inches now, with a couple of more on the way. High in the 60's on Wednesday.

Snowing pretty good here in Springfield, MO probably a couple of inches on the ground at 10:45.

Yep got up to around 3-1/2 inches here at the Lake of the Ozarks but hey we need some snow each winter to help cut down on the bugs and also put nitrogen into the soil. Plus need it for frost seeding clover etc

They're predicting 2-4 inches today & tonite for the St. Louis area with possible sleet & freezing rain mixed in.

Rick;

Where you located in WC Minnesota? I have a lot of good friends in the Sterbuck and Hancock area. I visit Starbuck most years for 4th of July Heritage Days celebration. Fly into Starbuck airport and camp for 4 or 5 days for Pope County Flyers fly-in campout.

Gene from West central Ohio.

P.S., Does Marvin Brown ring a bell?
