OT Vinyl Door

Does anyone have experience with outside vinyl doors in cold climate? It on an entrance door to an unheated mudroom. The vinyl door will have an outside storm door. Any advice will be appreciated.

Do not purchase a Larson door I have had one replaced (under warranty 3 times and gave up. It was exposed to sun, and it is in cold(Central MN), but I took its parts and reconstructed a treated plywood door. I would go with either wood, or Metal over vinyl every time. Jim

I have a similar problem, think it is a Larson too. It's vinyl over particle board. After 14 years, there are cracks in the vinyl. Door is out of warantee. Covered cracks with silicone. Door is still solid.

Dito on the Larsons, I have replaced probably over a hundred since the early 70's. They used to give you a new door, then just the core, now they hide behind warrenty fine print.
