Hi guys.
I'm restoring a 1959 Farmall 560, and want to as close as original as possible. I have a few questions on some colors:

1. The bolt heads on the hood, red or unpainted?
2. The bolt heads on the side hood skirts, white or unpainted?
3. The wheel studs on front and wheel nuts on rear, unpainted or red?
4. The grill screen, white or black or unpainted? (I have all ways)
5. The air cleaner bottom, silver like the top, or red? (with the clear bowl)
Thanks very much!!

Go find an original, nonrepainted tractor.I think you will find they were all zink plated.Something to think about...The first time a wrench gets close ,you have a damaged/scuffed place that will stick out"like a sore thumb".If you paint em off th tractor, how are you going to install them?Chrome em!

Grill screen from a 1960 Farm Journal ad for the 560...white (actually a cream color) and also Guy Fays book, Farmall Tractors in the 1950s show white in photos at the 560 intro back in 1958.

Front wheel bolts, as above, both Guy Fay and the Farm Journal ad agree, they are silver.

FYI, Generator is red.....

OK thank you!
So the rear wheel nuts would be silver as well I imagine? and the rear wheel locks red? or silver as well??
