Cute definition of service

Confused?

I become confused when I hear the word "Service" used with these agencies:

' United States Postal Service'
'Internal Revenue Service'
'Telephone Service'
'Cable TV Service'
Civil Service'
Public 'Service'
Customer 'Service'

This is NOT what I thought 'Service' meant.

But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to 'Service' a few cows.
BAM!!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.

You are now as enlightened as I am.

THAT'S Funny I don't care who you are!!!!!!
 
JD- interesting to see you're Dem/Repub test has already met the poof monster. Glad I printed it first time I saw it, for my "show and tell" at coffee tomorrow.

One of the guys is the union rep for the local teachers- otherwise, a pretty reasonable guy, and a card-carrying NRA member and gun collector. Will be interesting to see how he reacts. . .
 
I usually try not to post emails on here but There where just several this last week that where too good not to share.

Life is getting serious enough so we all can use a good laugh every now and then.
 
Back in about 1966, I was very unhappy with the service my 1964 Impala had received from Rapids (Rancid) Chevrolet, down in Cedar Rapids.

I wrote a letter to the president of the Chevrolet Division telling him, among other things, that I felt that I, as a not-too-far removed farm boy, had been serviced more than my car had.

I was polite enough to send a copy of my letter to the owner of Rancid Chevrolet. He promptly called me at home to call me a "lying SOB"
