JT or et. al. - RV camper roof vent question

I'm stumped. I've got a 10.5 foor Coachmen truck camper in my shop. It has two broken roof vent lids. One was easy to get a replacement for. The other has me stumped. These square roof vents are usually a standard 14" square size. Only part that takes some thinking is figuring out which of three brands since the hinges vary.

This camper is a 1973. The old original vent is a Ventline brand and I had no problem getting a replacement lid. But - the other is obviously new and has been recently added (at least within the past 5 years). The square lid measures 15 1/2 inches instead of 14". I've called a dozen RV dealers and none say they've ever heard of such a thing. I'm at the point that I'm going to have to rip the entire assembly out and replace the entire thing with a new one. The rough-opening is 14" just like all the others. But, I hate to tear up the roof and then have to reseal - just because I can't find a $10 lid somewhere.

Ever run across this?

Nope Ive never run across that and Ive owned a ton of RV's. All the ones I owned had Jensen or Ventline or Elixir Vents, heres one that measures 15 x 15 but thats probaly the standard lid for what we already know as a 14 inch vent??

15 x 15 vent lid

When I had a camper I added the vent cover/boxes (kind of look like a small airconditoner) that protected the lids and you could leave the lid open and those kept the rain out. I thought that's a good addition.
