maybe anyway....

Gotta buy one over here because of the voltage (230). Jerky isn't common here so the ads don't say anything about it. Do they all do jerky, or is there something special about the ones that do?
And, other than capacity, are the excalibur ones any better than the other brands (round ones) or will they all do the same??

Thanks, Dave

got a round one from wallyworld bout 10 years ago, still works, slower than Excaliber, have 5 trays, makes jerky fine, great for drying sliced apples, tried everything, it can dry them all, maybe a little slower and works best if you rotate trays every couple hours, HTH

We've had one like this for years. Makes very good jerky. I've never had to shuffle the trays - just put the stuff in, turn it on, and forget it.

All of them will make jerky. I have the cheapest one you can buy and it will dry anything just fine. It will only reach 140F so it takes longer than the nicer ones.
