Loader for 135 tractor?

I'm not very familiar with the Ford/MF line. But with a very little welder/torch work,Im sure you can make it fit. There is an 8N Ford with a JD#35 loader in this neighborhood,so anything is possible.Steve

Years ago we put a Ford loader on a MF 135. Don't recall the model number, but I remember it had single acting lift cylinders and a single DA cylinder on the bucket. The loader sub-frame bolted in at the rear axles with no problem. Our MF dealer used a large plate of steel at the front, which was bolted to some existing holes under the front, and the loader subframe was bolted to it. The plate was mounted vertically, and I would guess it measured about 8" x 24", probably at least 3/8's thick. I remember being amazed that the plate was bolted up and the loader sub frame arms seemed to be an exact fit without any requrired modification. The rear axle mounting holes also resulted in the uprights being at the correct width without any modificatons needed. Only downside to the project was that we just tapped into the hydraulic system in a manner that required us to chain down the 3 point lift arms to use the loader. Ran the pressure line to a dual spool controls mounted on a plate welded to the upright.
