'Unemployment rate thread'???

I am kinda new here and just noticed the 'Unemployment rate thread' is gone. :eek:

Every now and then I see threads disappear...what is happening and why does this occur?
 
That one sure surprised me when it went away though. I hadn't seen where anybody had gotten out of line yet. Maybe they were just putting the bandaid where the cut was gonna be,I don't know.
 
I did see where the one guys name was talked about you know the guy in the white house and if his name comes up it seems like the post will get deleted
 

There was a thread a few days ago about education. Since I taught in the classroom for nearly 30 years I gave the benefit of my experience in a post, taking some time to do so. Don't think I said anything controversial and everything was general knowledge in the education community. Never mentioned politics. For some reason the thread went poof.

It's also kind of weird that JDSeller's post about
OnStar last fall got ---- canned after about 25
hits... no politics there at all. Poor guy just
wanted truck advice, which isn't all that 'off-
topic' on this site.
 
You should have mentioned where some of the Pupils ended up, like the Armed Forces and deeds performed. That would stay on.

Other than this post, I not only haven't commented to this thread, I couldn't care less about what is or isn't deleted. . .
