I have a chance to buy a big bail cradel THAT WORKS AND IN FAIR SHAPE {$50.00}to move Big bails I am thinking is my little farmall cub
beefy enought: I will pulling on flat ground all the time; This cradel will move one bail at a time;

recently a ferguson with a towing sprayer on the rear was coming out of a depression and it flipped over backwards. something you should consider with a small tractor and a heavy weight behind.
 
For your sake, I hope you're kidding. Don't try ANYTHING involving a big bale with a Cub.

Don't get me wrong- a Cub is a useful tractor. Like going down to get the mail. If you don't have much mail.
 
what are you calling a cradle? something with wheels that you pull or the forks that attach on a 3PH and lift the bale? If it's something you pull, I pull a trailer with 30 bales (30+/- pounds) on it with my 250 cc atv.... Stopping on other than flat or inclining ground is another story :roll:
 
are you talking about bales of hay or are you talking about a handle on a bucket? the hay would be ok if it's just on wheels and you're not pulling it down any hills
 
I move 4x6 round bales all the time with a bale cradle. Also works for other sizes as well. Its homemade by my grandfather-in law. He built it to pull like a trailer to move big bales, one at a time, from one farm to another with his s10 pickup. I use it with my dodge dakota as well as a farmall h. I've used it in a pinch with my cub. For movin them around the farm it works great. Wouldn't wanna take it down the road or any big hills with the cub though, as my bales weigh about 1500lbs!!
