Cords ran everywhere

There are several sections behind me that have what look like extension cords running all over the place in sort of a grid. I followed them for miles the other day. Any idea what the heck they are for?

This past Sunday they put these in , going to do it again here soon I don't know why ??

They just did it last summer. Maybe they may be concerned since the OHIO earthquake ? I was sitting on the front porch and they even took a reading at my feet .. wonder if they would have if I wasn't there with camera?

May be Radio Amateur or radio broadcast tower in the past they put wire grid "radial wires" underground around the tower to improve antenna performance.

Seismic evaluation. This is the percursor to land being leased, drillers moving in. rents and taxes and prices going sky high, lotsa wells being drilled then plugged due to low natural gas prices. And people losing their new found wealth when they find out about 50% taxation and that the hole on their property probably will not produce a nickle for 15 to 20 years when it is finally tapped. Hearing this story alot around here lately.

Them's fart checkin wires, Gonna charge you for too much output. Only bummer is allowed that much output! Might also be checkin foot odor produced, too. Your tax dollars, at work most likely!
 
They said just to take a reading to see that it wasn't affecting my foundation ?? I believe it was only a put on show since the house across the street is actually closer the road than mine. Like I said Wonder if they would have bothered If I wasn't on the porch with a camers ?
Only other difference is my Gas Meter is against my house 8 ft from where they put in the probe they are watching. neighbors meter is about 70 ft from his house.
 
Old Roy, that is exactly what they look like. A box here and there and miles of cords.

If you get a phone call asking if you want to lease your land, don't be in any hurry. If they're serious they'll eventually sweeten their offer.
