When the show just starts. Oliver drives up on a
tractor. That kind of look's like a old farmall with
a flywheel on the side. What brand of tractor is
that. I know his other one is a Hoyt Clagwell.This
has been driving me nuts. Please Help?????

and Mr kimble the county agent drives a ford bronco! I think the hoyt clagwell is a fordson ,he bought it from Mr Haney

I haven't seen the show for a long time, but if memory serves, it's a John Deere D.

The tractor in the opening is a john deere GP and the Hoyt Clagwell he uses is a Fordson.

Me too,but it doesn't seem to be on anywhere. Green Acres comes on WHT,Direct TV channel 367 weekday afternoons at 4:30 eastern time.

A show my wife and I watch. She is a city girl from India and some of the neighbors mentioned we would be like that show here on the farm.

Once upon a time I was searching for the character that was similiar to a parts man and good friend here. Hank Kimball the county agent was the name. Anyhow in the process of that search I found out that Ford was the major sponser of the show. Thusly all the stuff was Ford based. the Hoyt Clagwell, all the vehicles and once Lisa had bought a new tractor (Thousand series ford).

I think Haney's truck is a T but not sure on that one they never really show the front real well.

The one exception is the tractor in the opening which is a GP John Deere.

Show is replayed on WHT weekday afternoons.

arnold ziffel, his father and mother were fred and doris ziffle ,they lived down the road from oliver and lisa,sam drucker ran the general store,kate ran the shady rest hotel with uncle joe and billy joe bobby joe and betty joe ,kates three daughters

I thought in the opening when you are "flying over" the fields you could see a farmall by a barn.

Early on in the series, it was a 2 cyl John Deere.
After Ford got to being the main show sponsor, they demanded the tractor be changed to a Ford product, so they substituted a Fordson.

Mr / Mrs Douglas drove a Lincoln convertable, the county agent drove a Bronco, other characters drove early Ford cars / trucks and in later shows a modern 60's Ford tractor was used at times.

That's one. Jeannine Riley played her for the first two seasons,then Gunilla Hutton was in the third season.

There were two different girls who played Bobby Jo too. Pat Woodell was the forgotten Bobby Jo from the first two seasons in black and white,then Lori Saunders was for the rest of the series.

No,she was a regular on the Beverly Hillbillies. One of the secretaries at the bank.
