cellphone extenders or boosters

Wilson electronics. Yes they work very well. I have one in my company truck and AT$T phone goes from a paper weight to usable.

We had same problems with cell phone service in our house! We got one and our cell phones went from sometimes 1 or no bars to 4 bars!! Workes great for us. Its a Samsung purchased thru Verison!

I've got a Wilson # 811210 dual-band amp that works great. In an area with one bar- it makes it over 5 bars (off the scale). Also used it in an area with no bars - along with a yagi antenna.

I agree have one in our cabin, went from no-service to 3 or 4 bars. has a pad you have to lay the phone on and a antenna on the roof. But you can put it on top of one phone then stack 2 more phones on top. I think it is a Wilson. Got one from radio shack first It was wireless didn't work at all. Vic

We've got a z-boost, as long as you're within 15 ft of the base it works great. Antenna has to go up high, min 25 ft higher or something like that so it doesn't pick up the inside signal and have feedback.

Just checked on the Samsung thing from Verizon.

It's not a signal booster. It's a portable cell tower.

You need a broadband Internet connection to make it work. Doesn't work in a vehicle or a remote cabin.

We have an underground house and hardly any signal in here at all. Sprint sent me a "Airave" that hooks up to the computer and now I have full bar signal anyplace in the house. I think they said within a 1000 ft radii
