OT 18 year old mom and intruder

Remember the case of the 18 year old OK mother who killed an intruder after 2 of them took 20 minutes to break into her home? News report says she won't be charged with anything. The surviving intruder is being charged with murder.

They should give her the key to the city. Look how much money she saved the tax payers so there's no trial. Hal
 
Assuming she killed the intruder with a gun (HOW DARE anyone use a gun to defend their life!!!), Im afraid the anti gun nuts are gonna be upset. Sounds like the other intruder is perhaps being charged under the felony murder rule. There are numerous incidents where a gun was used to save a life but the news doesnt seem to report those as much HMMMMMM

Amen I shouldn't feel this way, but I have a good feeling when someone who has done something like this gets what they deserve, without us taxpayers having to foot the bill for their defense and housing for an indefinite period of time, sometimes for the duration of their lives.
 
A 30 year old lady in Flint Mi shot and killed an intruder a couple of days ago. It was her boyfriend and father of her child. He just stopped in at 8 am while working with his delivery truck for a sirprise visit. I guess she shot first and was going to ask questions later. At least thats the story and they are saying she is devastated. It has been turned over to the prosecutor's office.
 
perfect! good job lady. the gun saved your life, and another crooked lawyer is out another job.
 
I had a cousin that was killed trying to break into an old couples house. He was trying to kick in the back door. Old man said he told him he had a gun. Said my cousin laughed at him told him to prove it old man. So he did. 12 guage versus my cousin. Guess who one.Best thing that ever happened to him.
 
May well be so but stillllllllllll to those anti gun nuts it was the use of a "GUN" they find so terrible even to save the life of the mother and baby SHE STILL USED A GUN

Ya reckon murderers and rapists and criminals (who dont seem to respect the law anyway) would obey any law prohibiting them from gun ownership??? I sorta doubt it but hey if law abiding citizens are not permitted guns and I was a criminal now thats the place Id like to perform robbery !!!!!!!!!!!!

this was a mile from my house and the boy who was killed was one of our best customers in our bait house.Seemed like a regular,friendly,nice guy. Goes to show you never can tell.I was razzing the chief of police here right after this happened about it taking so long to get there( turns out the dispatcher called county,was taking too long so she called the the city police, they were on scene in less than six minutes).He said they have had calls literaly from all over the world in support of this young lady!
 
And again I ask what good does it do to pass laws to control people that have declared their vocation is to break laws? Do these illiterate miscreants do a cost-benefit analysis of the plan to conduct criminal enterprise with the intent of minimizing the amount or severity of the laws they break? (Ah lets see George if we leave the gun at home we only commit two felonies). If we really wanted to reduce gun violence severely deal with someone who uses a gun in while conducting a violent crime. Understand the average criminal does crime because they think they can get away with it, so the number of laws they break is not a consideration they factor into planning their criminal activities.
 
Remember, if you have to dust somebody, no matter how legitimate, watch what you say to the police. Call a lawyer at the first opportunity, even if it makes you look bad. Let him/her talk to the abundant press. You can still be sued for offing mommie's little angel.
 

There is a "felony murder" law which says if 2 or more persons are involved in a criminal conspiracy and one is killed, the survivors may be charged with murder. Intention seems to be to get as many charges as possible against criminals. Someone who knows more about it than I do can explain it better.
