Our grandson, Sam with the tumor:

As I posted earlier he came through the surgery well. They expected him to be in ICU through yesterday. He was out of ICU Saterday afternoon and home Sunday night. They had told my daughter and SIL he would be in the hospital until at least Friday. They also had expected he would be out of school 7-10 days after his release. They now say he can go back to school as soon as he feels up to it. We are still waiting for the report from the pathologist. They say that the tumor was the size of a big red grape and was in the frontal temporal lobe.

Good news is always welcome.

My daughter went thru something similar about 4years
ago.

When you heading down to Gods country?

Great news. Kids are so resilient, heal up way faster than us old geesers. Praying more good news is on the way after they finish tests on the tissue. Rocko.

Gary, Sunday morning I got a call. FIL (78) was in the hospital and wasn't expected to make it. I called my wife and spent the day with her family at the hospital I left Monday morning and went to CR and returned with my wife last nite, str8 to the hospital.....only to find my FIL setting up in bed, talking his fool head off and looking at a temp stay in the nursing home starting later this week. I didn't try contacting you because I just wasn't going to have time to visit. We will be coming back down later this spring for a couple of days. I'll let you know when. I'm really looking forward to meeting and that tour!

Nice to hear that, and that he's exceeded the medical peoples expectations, don't rush things, but that's a sign, he's a good healer !

Best Wishes !

You sound like a walking ad for keeping God in your life. Keep praying, He'll keep watchin out for you.
Bless you!

That is excellent! I will keep him in my prayers a while longer.

Great News .. Looks like he is in high spirit.
God keeps watch over His children.. no matter the age .

I got a feeling that he will not feel good enough for school. For as long as he can get by with it. Glad to see him up and around. Hope it all turns out ok.

Glad to here he is doing so good and wish him a speedy recovery. I had a 4 1/2" tumor removed in 2003 and was back to work in 3 weeks. I was lucky. One thing you might want to get him is a real cool lookin bump hat to ware for awhile. I hope the tests comes back good and I wish him the best! Bandit

Thanks to everyone, both who posted and those who were silent here but made their voices heard!!!!
