OT: Chrysler New Yorker digital dash repair

I do try to avoid OT subjects but not much help anywhere else.
Daughters 1991 New yorker 5th Ave has the digital gage cluster, original went dead and I replaced it with a junker which lasted 3 years. Junkers with that dash are getting hard to find as a lot were crushed the last couple years. I think the capacitors on one of the boards is bad (small burn mark on solder side and a bit of ooze from the capacitor).

Has anyone tried to fix one of these and what tricks are there to un-solder and re-solder components on a circuit board?

Are there any good re-builders for these out there?

You need the help of an old time radio tv man only if you know the part is bad. PC board work fast and careful. Oozing cap is not any good most of the time. Dave
