How do i find where the serial number is on tractor so i can find the year it is

The big thing on the Fords of that vintage is how many cylinders but I am pretty sure that the one that you are referring to is four. So if you go to the starter then look on the flat horizontal surface just to the rear of it you should find the serial number stamped into the cast iron there, along with the model number

If it's a 5-speed, it's a 4-cylinder.
