drawing programs?

Hey folks, a while ago, I asked and got a couple good tips on programs or sites to work off of. Saved the sites to favorites to check later. Wiped out my favorites somehow and can't find the thread again. Could you give it another go please?

for some reason, google sketchup doesn't work... downloaded but gets an error when opening... Guess I'll wait on the computer guru to get home :roll:
