farmall f20 belt pully

hello i have a farmall belt pully that i want to put on my tractor i got shims the internal gear the belt pully and the arm and some graphit rope can any one tell me where the rope gose and if theres a gasket between the internal gear and the pully extension shaft ? i took the cover off and theres some shims how do i kno if theres the proper amount thank you

The rope goes around the shaft and is pressed in by the packing nut, it is the seal. You can make a gasket, I put spray a gasket on all the shims. Probably will take some trial and error to figure out how many shims you need.

ok thank you thats what i was thinking im 20 trying to restor my fisrt tractor and wasnt shure
