Anyone ever see the episode where the old timer had a 1925 John Deere D in the barn? They asked him what it was worth he said about what anyone would pay for it and they laughed and walked off. Don't know what they missed out on.

i just saw that episode over Christmas. Those guys walk by so much farm stuff and let it sit. They have said they have no market for old tractors and parts. I guess you can"t be into everything. Would have liked the old stationary engine they found a few weeks ago.

Anybody that's tried to sell a tractor should know darn well you NEVER get out of it what you put into it. These guys are looking to double their money on whatever they buy.

The last episode of American Restorations had them out looking for a old gas pump some where outside of Los Vegas. The junk yard had all kinds of old tractors in it from farmall, olivers, and some minn. molines.

got to remember, these guys are looking for little stuff to fill a van, they aren't like us tractor lovers, where they would stand there and talk about a big piece of iron they can't sell to some trinket lovers...or keep in their barn...
