O/T-2001 Alero

My wifes 2001 Alero with the 2.4 engine, sometimes when she starts it, it won't accelerate for several minutes.Just idles. I suspect the Throttle Position Switch. Any other ideas? Thanks...

Could be, could be something else. Throwing parts at these newfangled contraptions can get expensive. It may be best to have a reputable mechanic to run the diagnostics on it to see if there are any codes. Several years ago I worked for a dealership and a couple brought their car in. They had already replaced about three sensors and it still did not run right. One of our techs ran the codes and had it running like a top in less than an hour. Just my thoughts and good luck.
