has anyone ever heard of a lawn genie yard groomer. We used to have one but dad sold it for reasons i still don't understand. We used it behind our cub to pick up leaves and mow weeds in the winter. It was basically a flail mower with a big hopper on the back. Ours had its own 8 hp motor. I've never seen another one and I'm not sure who made it. I'd love to find one again and lately i've had the crazy idea to build one from an old flail mower. Anyway just wanted to see if anybody has any info or experience with them.

The new ones look pricey and foreign. I'd really like to just build one, as i enjoy making things but I'm not sure if a regular flail mower would provide the force needed to blow material into a hopper. I've never used a flail mower by itself. Only our old "leaf machine".
