I have a case 446 lawn tractor. Has run well until yesterday. I tried starting the engine and it turned over and try to start then died. I then tried turning over with nothing. I found the fuse(30A) going to the ammmeter then to the solenoid was blown. Now every time I put in a new fuse it tries to start then blows the fuse. Is this a bad solenoid doing this or what? If so where would you get it or whatever other part thats necessary. Thanks Clay

The most common location for a short on these is the wire to the headlights.

The wiring dead simple on these, but access can be a problem.

Go to eastmanind.com, find you parts manual, match you PIN and it will contain the correct diagram.
