Now there's a name that screams Americana huh????

Wife ordered a neat little frame from them that came complete with a sticker reading "designed in Montana, manufactured in china".......

Kinda disheartening when you TRY to buy American.... Like a BUCK knife that has china on the blade (walmart).......

May as well buy cheap to begin with and save the bucks ($$)

done now.......

Yeah, I got tricked by Sog just the other day. I thought Sog knives were made in the US and bought one. I noticed when I got home and saw designed by Sog and assembled in the USA. Might as well have bought a cheaper chinese knife seeing as how they are using the same parts.

I can go to a pro store and buy a 4" raigh angle grinder from the country brand (Bosch) with some chinese parts (??) for 100-150 euro with a 2 year gaurantee... Or go to a BB store and buy a brand that you just know is china for 15 bucks and a 5 year guarantee........

Makes no difference where you are, there are a whole lot more folks selling the cheap stuff that producing the expensive..... So buy what you can afford and let the midnight walmart crowd be damned......

They make just about every award buckle that you'll ever win in a horse event in the US...I've got about 6 of 'em, I was so pleased to get 'em i never looked at where they were made.

They are quite the company. Located right here in our town (Columbus MT). Big supporters of our FFA (also state and National). As with all companies there are changes and buyouts happening though. It is my understanding that the basic materials are purchased and then the engraving/art work is done here locally.

Yeah I noticed that in a store called "Baskins" over here in Burleson, Tx.

I was Christmas shopping and walked over to their knick knack section and saw some Montana Silversmith stuff. All had the ole made in china sticker on it.

Matter of fact, most everything in Baskins is made in china.

I won't shop there.
